"I've taken more pictures than I've had hot dinners"
The exhibition is now over it ran for 3 months

It started with a picture of the 'Baked Bean Pie' and it carried on from there. Snapping every main evening meal for over a month. No food styling, no neutral backgrounds, no fancy lighting. This is what I eat and the camera doesn't fib. What I did discover is we lie to the camera. I became conscious of home prepared food being captured on film and being shown to others. So there were adjustments to ingredients and presentation. Would it be possible do make candid photographs of what you eat? No, impromptu snaps definitely but a series of daily images negates any concept of candid.
