Shopping Bags

Biggest selling item at Unicorn last week was the new jute shopping bag. It's pink and has "Eat Your Greens" on it. Though a lot of people are using them there are probably more stuck in cupboards and never get an outing. Probably in the same cupboard as hundreds of plastic carrier bags. Without doubt the new "Fringe Food Festival" bag will sell out. We wrote about it last week. Just buying a shopping bag, and taking your old plastic bags for re-use to Unicorn or Chorlton Wholefoods isn't being green and environmentally friendly. The damage is done everytime you take a new plastic bag from a shop. Eco-rant over.

Yep, but if you try and use your own bag in Asda or Tescos, the security blokes hassle you. Stick that in your eco and smoke it. Cough!
