Festival Programme

Paper version A5 folded, colour and thousands will be available in participating outlets from today onwards. Expect to get a bit of web traffic this way now. Amendments, updates and developments will be on this page.

After the festival we hope to publish a full online food and drink guide to Chorlton. Well the web space is paid up for 12 months so why not use it. Everything from the new Beefeatery type place that is opening at the corner of Barlow Moor Road and Princess Parkway in the south right up the good bits in north Chorlton - Palmiro, Hillary Step and Jam Street Cafe. Plus even the best places to go for pet food for even little animals have to eat.

Since when has Whalley Range been called North Chorlton?? I must admit that it has become very yuppiefied over the last 2-3 years so maybe it has merged with chorlton!

The political boundary of Chorlton runs down the middle of Egerton Road North. Whalley Range is mid-19th Century invention by property developers - it's named after a town in Lancashire where they came from.
