Currently getting a bit of a makeover but still open for food & coffee. Closed Monday and Tuesday until the end of the month. For the Festival Time they are opening until 2130 for evening meals.

Belgian Belly on Wilbraham Road is the only Chorlton establishment to get a nomination for the City Life Food Awards - it's in Coffee Bar on the Year Award section.

I've heard that breakfast food features heavily in this years fringe food festival - Frosts do the buy the ingredients for the traditional British, Barbakan the continental with croissants and Unicorn the left field with porridge, museli and juices....for a sit down the Bean Counter might be doing a breakfast special. It should be the most important meal of the day but for many it just gets skipped.

It is open for trading now but with more fixtures, features and fittings being added. The big opening weekend is set for Sat 20th & Sun 21st September 2003. Which coincides with the 7th birthday for the store - 5,000 sqare feet of wholesome grocery bliss.
